Almost as soon as Raccoon was settled between Moose's antlers, they met Owl, who was perched on a branch in his favorite Oak tree.

"Good-day, Moose and Raccoon" Are you going someplace?", asked Owl, who was not all used to seeing Raccoon riding on Moose's head. "We are going to the eating place under the Hazelnut trees to have a picnic and EVERYONE is invited, including you.", announced Raccoon pointing his walking stick at Owl.

Owl looked at Moose, then looked at Raccoon. "But where is the food?", asked Owl as he looked at Moose again. He could tell very well that neither Moose nor Raccoon had anything at all to make a picnic. "What will you eat?"

"Don't wory about that", said Raccoon with a wave of his paw, "There will be enough for everyone".

Moose nodded his head in agreement.

"Very well then", said Owl, who was still a bit puzzled, "I am coming too. But I must tell the others. Quail and Hawk, Gopher and Ground Squirrel will want to go also". With that, Owl flew off.
